North China Pharmaceutical Group New Drug Research and Development Co., Ltd (ˇ°NCPC R&Dˇ±), founded in 1957, is a subsidiary of North China Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (ˇ°NCPCˇ±). We are located in Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province. NCPC R&D owns a total fixed asset of 14 million USD. After 50 years of growth, NCPC R&D is now a leading pharmaceutical research and development enterprise in China, excelling the most in microbial fermentations and organic synthesis. We are currently working on the development, manufacturing, and sales of high quality active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and novel generic finished pharmaceutical products. NCPC R&D was designated the exclusive ˇ°National Microbial Drugs Engineering Research Centerˇ± by the Chinese Government in 2006. We primarily target the fields of immunosuppressants (such as Cyclosporine(Ciclosporin), Tacrolimus(FK506), Sirolimus(Rapamycin), Mycophenolate Mofetil, Mycophenolic acid, Mycophenolate sodium, Mizoribine, Ascomycin(FK520), novel antibiotics such as Teicoplanin, Daptomycin, and norvanomycin hydrochloride, antifungals such as amphotericin B, natamycin, traditional Chinese medicines.
NCPC R&D has a well-equipped research and development team of more than 600 professional scientists and technological experts. Our main facility covers more than 11,000 square meters. We also have 5 multi-functional pilot plants, covering 8,000 square meters, to perform novel API scale-up trials. Our laboratories are equipped with more than 2000 pieces of equipment, 160 of which are imported to achieve highest international standards. NCPC R&D is committed to discovering and developing innovative drugs and collaborating with academic institutions around the world.
NCPC R&D has established a rigorous and efficient quality control and quality assurance system. All of the processes in our production system comply with the current GMP. NCPC R&D has validated four formulation production workshops and one API workshop for ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001, and GMP standards.
